1. Collection and use of personal information
You can visit our website without providing explicit personal information. We only store technical access data or log data, such as
· the name of your Internet service provider,
· date and time of the request,
· name of the requested file,
· page from which the file was requested,
· access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.),
· web browser and operating system used,
· complete IP address of the requesting computer and
· the amount of data transferred.
This information is evaluated exclusively for the improvement of our offer and for reasons of technical security, in particular for the defence against attempts to attack our web server. The data will not be processed to identify you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR (legitimate interest). If it becomes necessary in individual cases to identify you against the background of network or information security, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR (legitimate interest) in conjunction with EG 49 GDPR.
2. Contact form and e-mail
Personal data (such as name, company, address, telephone number and e-mail address) are only collected if you willingly provide them to us as part of your contact request via contact form or e-mail. Unless you give us separate consent, we only use the data, which has been given by you, for the purpose of processing your enquiry based on Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR (contract initiation) or Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for appropriate processing and communication with you.
When your request has been completely processed, your personal information is blocked for any further use and deleted (after any required dates for preserving the data under commercial or taxation law have elapsed, currently ten years) unless you have explicitly provided your consent for further use of your personal information.
Your personal information provided via a contact form will not be used for any other purpose, and particularly not for advertising purposes.
3. myMULTIVAC customer portal
Register with myMULTIVAC, get an overview of the MULTIVAC machines installed in your company. myMULTIVAC also has a clear account of the history of all your orders, enquiries and spare parts orders.
In doing so, the following data from you will be stored in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR (your consent): first and last name, e-mail address, password and login information.
If you want to delete your customer account, send an e-mail to digital-request@multivac.de.
4. Use of cookies and browser memory
We use cookies and other browser storage technologies on several web pages, in order to make a visit to our website attractive and to enable certain functions to be used. These are small amounts of data, which the provider of an Internet site saves on the user's computer and can access again when the website is next visited, so that navigating or conducting transactions within the Internet is easier, and information about user behaviour can be retrieved.
Most of the cookies and browser memories used by us are deleted from your hard drive after the end of the browser sitting (sitting or session cookies).
