State Service Manager – New South Wales

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced State Service Manager in our NSW location with a focus on automated packaging and processing equipment. The purpose of the role is to ensure the effective management and delivery of services provided by MULTIVAC. This includes overseeing the entire spectrum of service-related activities from customer support to maintenance and repair services.

This is an exciting and varied role, and we encourage people who are reliable, motivated and suitably qualified to apply. The role involves regional travel throughout the state. There may also be occasional interstate or international travel.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise service staff and operations within the assigned region, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services. 
  • Collaborate closely with the NSW State Manager to cultivate a positive workplace culture and accomplish group objectives, align with the General Manager of Service to meet service targets, and coordinate with the Regional Service Coordinator to provide comprehensive support to machines and customers.
  • Maintain regular communication with MULTIVAC clients to address field issues promptly and implement appropriate solutions. 
  • Foster seamless coordination with Sales, Technical teams to facilitate timely and within-budget installations. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to address ongoing issues in a timely manner. 
  • Oversee Quality Inspections (QIs) within the region, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Promote the advantages of Preventative Maintenance Agreements to customers and assist in their implementation. 
  • Facilitate necessary staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Extensive technical expertise and experience within service and spare parts domains. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, with a track record of effectively managing and inspiring teams. 
  • Strong communication skills across various levels, adept in both written and verbal communication. 
  • Proven ability to drive results promptly and efficiently. 
  • Commercially astute with a sharp focus on customer satisfaction
  • Effective prioritization skills for managing local workloads and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Innovative problem-solving aptitude, capable of devising creative solutions. 
  • Exceptional organizational abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity for lateral and commercial thinking, coupled with the ability to liaise effectively with MULTIVAC management. 
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation, with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
  • Familiarity with SAP systems. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Maintains professionalism and respects company and management decisions while collaborating effectively within a team.
