Your tasks and responsibilities

• Programming in a contemporary 2D/3D CAD/CAM system.
• The programmer is responsible for programming the sheet metal processing machines in production.
• Timely creation of NC programs for details from sheet metal in the production.
• Consideration of the optimal manufacturing strategy.
• Creation and checking of geo-files.
• Optimize tool usage and minimize material consumption (sheet optimization).
• Testing and implementation of new manufacturing strategies and details.
• Management of the programming environment and technical documentation.
• Give feedback to the headquarter regarding the used programming software (TruTopsFab).
• Responsibility for NC-program in regard of product quality and efficient production time.
• Ensure that design errors and improvements are identified and rectified.

Professional Requirements

• Degree in engineering or comparable qualification.
• Appropriate work experience in operating and programming sheet metal machines.
• Subject-specific knowledge in sheet metal manufacturing (laser-punching machine is a plus).
• Good computer skills (MS-Office, ERP-System, Additional programming skills is a plus ).
• Good spoken and written English (German is a plus).
