Key Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and secure operation of SAP systems
• Perform system monitoring, patch management, performance analysis, and regular housekeeping
• Manage and monitor system interfaces to non-SAP applications
• Support backup/recovery procedures and system copies
• Document and continuously improve operational processes
• Collaborate with global teams to support infrastructure and application needs
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Attributes

• Engineering bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in SAP. 
• Proven experience in SAP Basis administration in enterprise environments
• Knowledge in R/3, ECC and new dimensional projects (S4Hana, Fiori, Content Servers, etc.) 
• Experience with Linux-based systems, ideally on IBM Power Systems (E980)
• Contribute to the architecture of cloud-based SAP systems and provide expertise in SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Identity Management.
• Familiarity with IBM infrastructure and architecture is a plus
• ABAP and JAVA administration knowledge is desired
• Certification in SAP BASIS/HANA DB is an advantage

Professional Attributes

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Exposure to German language/culture is a plus.
• Experience in working with global stakeholders and ability to work with intercultural teams.
• Extensive experience collaborating in SCRUM-based Agile teams.
• Flexibility to work according to German time zones.
• Available for short-term international travel for meetings, training, and project activities.
