The certification underlines the high priority of information security at MULTIVAC. As the global IT Headquarters of the MULTIVAC Group, the Wolfertschwenden site operates the central systems and digital services for the more than 80 subsidiaries worldwide.

“The ISO/IEC 27001 certification confirms, that information security throughout this international infrastructure is controlled systematically and continually developed. This enables us to create a secure basis for worldwide cooperation with customers, partners and staff members,” says Jürgen Dauner, Vice President for IT Systems at MULTIVAC. “Our customers can trust in us to protect their data to the best of our ability, and to provide reliable digital services, as well as systematically minimise the risks to information security. The certified IT Security Management System also supports the adherence to compliance requirements throughout the supply chain. This reinforces trust and assists our customers in the digitalisation of their production and packaging processes.“

In concrete terms this means, that MULTIVAC protects information and data through clearly defined security processes and responsibilities. IT and Service processes follow established standards and are continually monitored and improved. A structured Risk Management System contributes to minimising security incidents and interruption of operations. The certified security processes ensure that digital solutions and services are provided securely and reliably, including the myMULTIVAC Customer Portal, the MULTIVAC Smart Services and other networked applications for customers in the packaging and processing industry.
