Megan Knight, HR Administrator – HR Department
Tell us more about your role at MULTIVAC!
I support the HR team with all aspects of administration within the employee lifecycle, this includes supporting with inputting the monthly payroll and, as the first point of contact, I address general HR queries within the business. Additionally, I provide support to our HR Business Partner, Lena, as and when required.
What does your day to day look like?
Working in HR brings a dynamic and unpredictable daily schedule, no two days are the same here! To kickstart my day, I begin with an energising hot drink (usually chocomilk), before logging in to assess the day’s developments and prioritise tasks accordingly.
How long have you worked at MULTIVAC? Have you had any other roles?
This is my first role at MULTIVAC and I am approaching two months here!
What do you like about working at MULTIVAC so far? How have you settled into your new role?
There are many aspects that I like working at MULTIVAC, but what truly stands out for me is the sense of community within the company. The welcoming atmosphere has allowed me to seamlessly settle into my new role. I am eager to contribute meaningfully and actively participate in achieving the business plan goals.
What is one skill you want to improve on?
One skill that I would like to improve on is my confidence, in terms of trusting my decisions and capability of making them.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my sister. We engage in a range of activities together, one being rock climbing, another being indulging in a Chinese buffet... two very different ends of the spectrum!
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A pillow, blanket and hammock – there’s a common theme going on here...
Tell us something we don’t know! A surprising or fun fact about you...
When I was little, I had a variety of dream jobs, one being a race car driver!
