If fruit and vegetables don‘t have to be packed in a modified atmosphere or a vacuum, there is a simple solution: the trays can be closed with labels and marked directly. The TopWRAP™ label is applied over the top and onto the two sides of the tray securing the content and providing a maximum surface for communication.

Closure sealing of trays for fruit and vegetables

TopWRAP™

TopWRAP™ packaging closes the trays with a label from above and over two sides so that the content of the tray is secure against falling out or being removed. Depending on the materials used, plastic-reduced packs can be produced or even packs that are based completely on renewable resources. The automatic packaging process provides tangible cost savings compared to time-consuming, manual packaging solutions.

The L 310 TopWRAP™ labeller closes the tray by applying a label to the top and over two sides so that the content of the tray is secure against falling out or being removed.

TopCLOSE™

In the case of TopCLOSE™ packaging, the label adheres only to the edge of the tray. With an output of up to 250 packs per minute it is particularly efficient.

Closure sealing of trays for fruit and vegetables

TopCLOSE™

TopCLOSE™ packaging closes the trays from above and labels them in a single pass. The label only adheres to the edge of the tray. An opening aid ensures a high level of consumer convenience and also makes it easy to reseal the pack and protect the contents until they are fully consumed. In addition to plastic trays, paper trays can also be used, reducing the plastic content of the packaging by 90 %.
