What do you do at MULTIVAC? Describe your role ...
As a Materials Specialist, I provide expert support and solution-based advice to customers on their packaging requirements.
How long have you worked at MULTIVAC in your role? Have you had any other roles at MULTIVAC?
I have been in my current role at MULTIVAC for six years, bringing over 35 years of experience in the packaging industry.
What do you like about working at MULTIVAC? What’s your favourite part of your job?
I really enjoy the strong team culture at MULTIVAC and working alongside great colleagues. The variety in the role keeps things interesting, and I particularly value the opportunity to solve problems and deliver solutions for our customers.
What are you generally working on at the moment which you are happy to share?
Right now, much of my work is focused on recyclable packaging. It’s a key priority for our customers and brings ongoing challenges as we develop new materials.
What do you like to do outside of work? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
Outside of work, I’m a keen fisherman and love being outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
What's one piece of technology at MULTIVAC that fascinates you?
The most recent installation of our vision system at a customer site really blew me away. The technology available today to produce the perfect pack every time is incredible. It checks for misplaced labels, empty packs, and seal contamination, covering everything - helping reduce waste and ensuring a perfect pack is presented to the consumer every time.
What’s the best part about working with your team?
The best part of working with the team is the balance of support and banter. Even on tougher days, there’s always plenty of encouragement and a good sense of humour that helps keep things positive.
What would you say your greatest accomplishment is to date? Is there anything you'd still like to achieve?
I completed the 2026 London Marathon, which for me was a huge achievement, while raising nearly £3,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust.
