Erstes deutsch-indisches Wirtschaftstreffen im Allgäu
German-Indian Business Summit zu Gast bei MULTIVAC

Wolfertschwenden, 27. Mai 2026 – Mitte Mai fand erstmals ein deutsch-indisches Wirtschaftstreffen bei MULTIVAC statt, organisiert von der German-Indian Foundation (GIF), mit Unterstützung der IHK Schwaben und des indischen Generalkonsulats in München. Umashankar Sharma, Gründer und President GIF und Projektmanager für indienbezogene Projekte bei MULTIVAC, begrüßte die rund 70 Gäste, Unternehmensvertreter aus Süddeutschland, im Auditorium. Auf der Agenda stand eine Ansprache von Eric Beißwenger, MdL und Staatsminister für Europaangelegenheiten und Internationales, über die Zusammenarbeit von Bayern und Indien. Anschließend referierte Shatrughna Sinha, indischer Generalkonsul aus München, über die indisch-deutsche Wirtschaftspartnerschaft und Chancen für den Mittelstand. Dr. Johannes Epple, Geschäftsführender Direktor (CFO) der MULTIVAC Group, erläuterte am Beispiel von MULTIVAC, wie der erfolgreiche Aufbau einer Marktpräsenz in Indien gelingen kann.
Bei einer anschließenden Podiumsdiskussion mit Vertretern von MULTIVAC, TAKTOMAT, MAHA und der IHK Schwaben wurde erörtert, wie der Markteintritt in Indien gelingt – von Joint Ventures bis hin zu Partnerschaften in der Lieferkette. Eine weitere Diskussionsrunde mit Vertretern von MULTIVAC, der LAPP Gruppe, Tech Mahindra und Fujikura Technology Europe drehte sich um globale Kompetenzzentren und Technologiepartnerschaften, mit einem Fokus auf die Themen F&E, KI und Industrie 4.0.
„Die große Resonanz auf den ersten deutsch-indischen Wirtschaftsgipfel, der bei MULTIVAC ausgerichtet wurde, freut uns sehr“, sagte Dr. Johannes Epple. „Unsere Unternehmensgruppe ist bereits seit 2009 in Indien präsent. Für uns ist es ein Markt mit langfristiger Perspektive, der durch seine dynamische wirtschaftliche Entwicklung überzeugt, insbesondere in den Bereichen Lebensmittelverarbeitung, Verpackungstechnologie sowie Pharma und Medizintechnik.“
„Das Ziel der German-Indian Foundation ist es, zukünftig auch an anderen deutschen Standorten vergleichbare Veranstaltungen durchzuführen, um die Kooperation zwischen deutschen und indischen Unternehmen nachhaltig zu fördern“, resümierte Umashankar Sharma. „Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass die indisch-deutsche Partnerschaft außergewöhnliche Chancen bietet – und eine erfolgreiche Umsetzung nur durch regionale, zwischenmenschliche Verbindungen gelingt. Wir wollen eine Schnittstelle für deutsche Unternehmen und indische Partner sein, um Vertrauen aufzubauen und gemeinsamen Mehrwert zu schaffen, z. B. durch sorgfältig zusammengestellte Round Tables, Programme zur interkulturellen Kompetenz und interdisziplinäre Netzwerke, die Industrie und Zivilgesellschaft verbinden.“
