MULTIVAC UK announces new Northern Customer Experience and Innovation Centre in Manchester

MULTIVAC UK has announced plans for its new Northern Customer Experience and Innovation Centre, a dedicated facility where food manufacturers will be able to explore the latest processing and packaging technologies, collaborate with experts and trial industry-leading line solutions.

Located in Trafford Park, Manchester, the centre represents a significant investment in supporting food manufacturers across Northern England and Scotland. Created as a collaborative hub, the facility will enable customers and prospective customers to work directly with MULTIVAC UK specialists to evaluate new concepts, test packaging and processing solutions and develop innovations that support business growth.

The Northern Customer Experience and Innovation Centre complements MULTIVAC UK's established Innovation Centre in Swindon, extending the company's innovation and support capabilities across the UK and providing customers with greater regional access to technology, expertise and service.

The centre will provide access to MULTIVAC's latest processing, packaging, automation and digital solutions, enabling food manufacturers to explore integrated solutions designed to improve efficiency, productivity and operational performance.

Customers will also have access to MULTIVAC UK's packaging materials expertise, helping them identify solutions that support both performance and sustainability initiatives, as well as regulatory requirements, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

The facility will also host expert-led training programmes for equipment operators, engineers and service personnel to maximise machine performance, enhance technical capability and develop in-house expertise.

An expanding range of value-added services and support capabilities is expected as development progresses.

Development of the facility is now underway with the centre expected to open in October 2027.
